|Biography||I strive to make artwork that embodies the play between fragility and power. The body of work I have created over the past few years consists of sculptures and paintings that explore themes of survival, decay, childhood, death, growth, and what it means to work and survive in the contemporary world. These works also explore my childhood memories and experiences with other children as an educator.
I hold an MA in Art Education from Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD. and a BFA in Textile Design/Painting from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, MA.
